I guess we all have times when we'd like to close our eyes, get some rest, and put our troubles out of our minds for a short while. Except it isn't always that easy. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! I am speechless. To me, this poem describes the woman so busy and overwhelmed she felt lost and trapped at the same time. The first two lines are my favorite. I also adore the ending. Sometimes we do feel better after a good night's sleep (me at least). Well done! Best wishes for the contest.

This was such a heartfelt, poignant read.
The character of this story is very brave.
As someone who battles depression I can understand that relief in a few hours of escape via sleep.
