I dont think I talk in my sleep but my husband sure does. Sometimes I get the biggest kick out listening to him. He can carry on a whole conversation by himself. This was a cool poem, Gypsy. Gretchen

Thank you very much, Kym. It's about Jesus and the way he loves us. The book that inspired this poem is a fictional novel about Jesus and his wife, Anna. I think that since Jesus was a human man before he became God, it's possible that he had a family. But it can be either way, I leave it to the reader to decide.

Yes, Jesus is with us at all times and knows every thought and beat of our hearts. He knows us better than we know ourselves. This is a very beautiful poem and presentation. I wish I had a six left.

Your poem is beautiful! I love how "Little Thunder" feels so full of meaning. The way you spaced out "because he listens" makes it feel like a secret being shared. "When my wishful heart rumbles" is such a perfect ending - it left me with such a warm feeling. This is such a lovely poem!

I love the connection of "Thunder" and the "heart rumbling". Reminds me of how one can feel his/her partner's heartbeat in the middle of the night. This is so romantic, perfect for Valentine's day. The info you shared about the orgin of Tanka makes the poem even more meaningful. Thank you so much!
