-Good artwork and nice presentation, Gypsy.
-Your notes are appreciated.
-Very good opening lines show
the emotional impact these fires are having.
-The last two show what people are
going through as they try to see
what has happened with their own home.
-I hope things settle down soon,
and that you stay safe, along with
those in your community.

Having to be ready to go any minute is very stressful. Also figuring out what to take or not to take. I wish we got the notice already and stop being in limbo.

    Thank you very much, Shelley

Oh my goodness thankfully you are safe I had no ideayou lived close by the fires. This vivid poem captures the devasting moment that is after destroying people's homes with lives lost. Dear Gypsy, I forgot you lived in California and am so sorry not to have mentioned it. I can't begin to imagine what you're going through but, at least, you have a good plan of action. You skilfully convey the stress you're under in your verse, not just from the fire knocking at your door but also the frantic activity of folk around you. My prayers for you, your family and your home. Debbie

Please stay safe. Leave sooner than necessary if you can - here in Australia we know the speed and intensity of these fires, and they can so quickly become disastrous, and impossible to flee. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thank you very much for your excellent review and kind words. We are ready to go when we get a warning. It's a big movement than 400 miles so we won't leave against we have to, but it is very scary and stressful. Sad🥲😮‍💨

I have been praying for you and all those affected by the fire, we are in San Diego and watch with Horror at the devastation and lives lost. I will continue to pray.

Very well presented poem about the cure situation so many are facing as these fires continue to burn. I am sure that your safety is the chief priority, but the sad reality that so many have faced in losing their homes are expressed in your words.
Thank you for posting, I know that this is not easy to speak about.RJ
