You covered some deep subjects here. I like that you leave it as a confirmed "I don't know" about the extraterrestrials. I also like the differing types of burdens - one that is shared and one that is carried alone. And both Sylvia and Ben Paul know to listen to and obey the Spirit at the right times!
One comment:
And John, in his Revelations, said Jesus has the keys to hell and death. (Revelation) if you mean the book and not the many visions. Somehow people, me included like the pluralize the book title.

Thank you. I truly appreciate your reviews.
I suppose with pluralizing Revelation, it should in lower case.
Thank you for the six stars!

Ugh! Sad but true scene to open this chapter.
Is that true about men? Only 1% live to be 82? I think that 1% lives in my neighborhood.
We think of burdens as being great, but sometimes they are small things that mean a great deal to one person.
This sounds a bit like Wayne and Debbie's travelogue:-)
As far as Roswell goes, as Fox Mulder always said, "I want to believe."
Have a good weekend, Wayne.

Thank you.

Danger lurks everywhere for all of us, but for a seven-year-old girl, the chances multiple greatly. And that's long before we take into consideration the possibility of aliens in every shadow. :-) Thanks for sharing.

They had an interesting trip and Ben Paul managed to save two lives, the little girl and the woman with the purse. Ben Paul has a similar belief about aliens that I share.

They are so very in tune with the Holy Spirit that they are being used by Him everywhere they go, which is exactly how we all should live. Thank you for another interesting and well written story!

I love their Ben Paul and Sylvia, indeed God doesn't make mention thst there are no other planets with life upon them, and how strange they look from us, but they must have thumbs and be intelligent, and Sylvia rescuing a little girl from possible disaster, beautifully written Wayne, blessings Roy

Thank you.
No, God doesn't mention extraterrestrials.
No particular reason that he should, I suppose.

That's right

Roswell, New Mexico...I'd love to visit there. I don't know why. It might be fun to look through small museums or enjoy a visit to a small cafe. Also, Carlsbad Caverns. Since my childhood days of reading "Cave Carson" and seeing "Journey To The Center Of The Earth", I wanted to visit there. Thanks for taking me along for the journey. This was my favorite chapter yet, just for the sightseeing.

And who said we have to remove everything that isn't plot?

I never said that.

You're taking us on such an exciting journey, Wayne! We get to see the sights through the eyes of the traveling pastor and his wife, Sylvia. It's great the way they listen to the Holy Spirit and His guidance.
I really like the part about Jesus preaching to the dead and having the keys of Heaven and Hell. Great points and spoke to my soul.
Thanks for sharing the journey,
Rhonda

Thank you. Why else possess the keys than to rescue people?

You know, that's a really good point, and one I guess I never really understood what meant.

Hi Wayne,
I enjoyed the escapades of Ben Paul and his wife Sylvia. Your dialogue helps reveal personalities and provides humor throughout.
I believe Scripture reveals evidence that none will perish and go to Hell (2 Peter 3:9). First, Jesus said He lost no one. Then He said only one was lost, the one destined for destruction. (John 18:9). I don't think the lost one was Judas Iscariot, it's Satan. Besides, Judas repented before he killed himself. I believe the goal of creation was to "separate light from darkness" good from evil. (Genesis 1:4) To separate God from Satan. Satan does get kicked out of Heaven in the end. (Gen. 12:7-12). Remember how Jesus broke the commands given in the Old Testament when He forgave the woman caught in adultery and healed on the Sabbath? Jesus died for everyone, whether they believed or not. Ultimately, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. (Phil. 2:10-11). Everyone will be saved because Jesus took on the sins of the world, and we are all set free. If Satan won, there would be a separation between believers and unbelievers, but since God wins, His will survives and none shall perish.
