I apologize for taking so long to respond to this amazing poem you constructed.
This is a special work to me, of course, and pulls a lot of my life together in this one piece.
Ten years with one wife and thirty-eight with another, kids, and grandkids are a lot of affected lives.
Between the Marines and teaching high school, the pressure and good times are well-remembered.
Thank you for doing this and making it sound so good.

That's ok, Bill. I am just happy to hear from you. I just seem to worry that there might be something that needs changing or if I did it wrong.. I tried to be careful and only touch on your other marriage because of consideration for Kathy and now. But didn't want to lesson the importance of your children from your first marriage. So I hope I did right. I do try to be sensitive to everyone's feelings.
So with that said, I will tell you once again how thrilled I am that you liked it and I hope you got the link to send to others if you wish. I hope you had a great birthday. You are an amazing man and you do have an amazing family too.
I do have to ask if you had seen that picture of your brother in-law before? I really had to dig to find it but it was fun to find. Make sure to read the reviews and all the kind birthday wishes. Thank you Deb. You are so kind, and I appreciate all the well wishes. I am actually going to release one on Sunday after our party tomorrow night because I am going to thank everyone then. I printed off the book and taking it with us. Anyway, I normally wouldn't have allowed all this fuss, but I do admit that fifty feels really weird. Y'know. That was for my grandparents, not me. LOL

I don't know how you weave imagery and rhyme from specific detail, but it works and we get to learn out our fellow fanstorians in a very creative way. I love your closing couplet, too.

Hahahaha. That last remark to Bill was hilarious. Thank you so much for noticing the art. That took me hours to do, and his poem was a day and a half, because he had so much info and I didn't want to add things about his one son and kids without adding about the others fairly, so I take all that into consideration and constantly ask myself will that offend anyone? Thank you for being so observant because I needed to hear those kind things right now.
I certainly hope Bill liked it and is reading all the awesome reviews and well wishes. He will love your fun comments.

Bill is one very interesting man, and a military hero, everyone who served is a hero to me. I'd love to know more about this man. Is he a member of fanstory? Or is there a book available on his life? Thank you so much, Dan. As you already know I am a stickler on meter, but these are so hard to do because you have to use the right words even if they don't fit. So I appreciate your vote of confidence and your six stars.
I have been watching if you posted anything yet. I haven't had any notifications. But I have been so busy getting my poem for our 50th wedding anniversary for Sunday to go in the book that Sally started for me. There has already been at least five poems for us. Isn't that nice? It will be one to remember, that is for sure. I am so very touched by all the love.

Hello my adorable sweet sista. You are so sweet and kind and I always appreciate your lovely reviews. You mentioned you liked the art. So did you see that I found Kathy's brother as a buccaneer and specialized the other art to go with it? So few have noticed it, so I was wondering if it was obvious? I spent a lot of time on the art for this one. Not bragging but wondering if it is worth it. I hope Bill liked it.
