This poem, The Rules of Life 241-252, tells me that if I could write underwater then I could also write underhanded, under a bridge, and be understood.

Thanks for reading my old stuff. That joke about writing underwater, came about when I read an article about a company selling writing instruments that never runs out of ink and can write upside down. They
sold 100,000.00 units for $100,000.00 . When they opened the boxes they got mad, and then they started laughing . They got pencils. Their lawyer says, no fraud was committed. :-) Karen

Lol you have offered some very wise advice in your piece of poetry although it feels strange calling it a poem as it is a series of sayings. I have heard most of the sayings but not the joke.

It is closer in style to a free verse poem than a story. There was no category for this. :-)

Great writing, my friend :) I just love this one! You put a smile on my face. My favorite: "Keep away from people who belittle your ambitions, and put down your talent. People who are small inside do that. They try to squash anyone who rises above them, exhibiting talent that they lack. But, the really great ones will offer help, they will encourage you to grow, to get better, and take pride when you pass them by."
You have great advise here. Thanks for sharing.
Sincerely,
Shana :)

Every time you post one of these chapters, I think how in the world has she ever come up with more, and I bet this will be the last one. But, sure enough, in a few shorts days, here you come with another page full. Thanks for sharing.

How I laughed, first when looking at this picture, it's a really enjoyable one! Second, at the insomnia and maths matter, and third, at the story of the lady painting less and less further!!
I loved this text, thank you so much for sharing it !

I still get the giggles at that joke. Karen

Excellent and hilarious stuff. Love the joke. Although it reminds me of the policeman who stopped a driver speeding down the middle of the road. When he asked the driver what he was doing he said he was doing what the driving licence said when he received it: 'Tear down the dotted line'.

I read the last joke to my husband and he couldn't help but laugh. I loved the one about giving someone without a smile one of yours. These continue to make me smile. Keep up the good work. Gretchen
