Thanks for the read. My Dad thought bacon is it's own food group. I love the stuff. I love BLT's. That is my favorite sandwich by far. I love broccoli too. Cauliflower pales in comparison. ( That is a joke there, in case you missed it). Karen

I think that these are great life lessons! I thought that the part about bringing food to a funeral was sweet. This was very well done. I like the joke at the end too!

This is another good list. I especially like the first and lasts ones. All of them had an element of wisdom that shouldn't be forgotten. Do you think you are ever going to run out of interesting ideas for your list?

There are a million of ideas out there. Plus my brainy brain pops them out too. I am thinking of looking for a publisher. Karen

Do that. Publishers don't bite, although they do have bad days. I sent in something and the editor's review was this; is not good writing etc. And the postscript was, I also kicked my dog today.

You're still going strong with these, and I'm amazed you can keep coming up with them. And as with the first one in this set, you're right, no one will be just like me. But I'm sure there isn't anyone who would ever want to be. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Oh please, you are a good old southern man, loves dogs and momma, has a very good brain, can write with talent and verve, and gets me. What more would anyone need? I am seriously thinking of publishing my sayings when I am done. If I get good money, I will travel. Always wanted to. Have a good week.:-) Karen

Amen to the last one. It is the same reward at the end of the race, no matter how long it takes you to get to the finish line. I love the line about some people climbing mountains while we find success just getting out leg in our underwear without falling over. Great job. Gretchen

Don't worry if plan A fails. - I don't know how many times I've seen situations where people either have no Plan B, or they do, but when 'A' fails, they simply throw up their hands and carry on like screaming banshees.

What is wrong with people? If one door is locked, try another door, climb through a window. If it is an emergency pop out a pane and unlock the door. I don't remember when I got it, but I got an awatd from somewhere for "thinking Outside the Box". Probably one of my sales jobs.Have a good week friend :-)

I agree with a lot of what you say here, a lot of people do take life as a challenge and that they always have to be the best, but at the end of the day, we're all a tiny speck in the grand scheme of things and we should slow down and just enjoy the tie we have here. A well written piece, I enjoyed reading it.

I wrote 1-12, and folks went apey for them, so I kept going. I might think about publishing a book.
