Good morning from Costa Blanca, Spain...
As I am up early...again..I decided to see if there were any poems of yours I have not read...
After some searching as it appears I have reviewed all your newer ones (15 or so) I was delighted to find one I had not read...Reginas Celebration...
Really such a delightful poem...I enjoyed all the many details... she sounds rather amazing!

Hello my Spanish friend. And actually I don't know if you are Spanish or not, as didn't you start out in California? See I do pay attention. Lol...I thank you for the very kind comments for my poem and the sweet wishes for Regina and she is amazing. My eyes are really bad today and I will explain it later when I come find you. But I will try. If not today, I will try for tomorrow.

Hi Debi, this is such a sweet and loving birthday greeting. I am sure that Regina just loved it. I loved the grumpy candles--they are so me. Lol, but true, unless they make Oscar the Grouch candles.
Your poem reads and flows well and has good rhyming within. Regina is a gal like myself when it comes to rhyming, but like I say, "Life doesn't always rhyme, so why should poetry ~ LateBloomer"
Of special note:
Regina is so talented and knows what it will take
To put her artist masterpiece on canvas or a cake
(The cake part sound yummy. Getting the coffee ready for my imaginary cake.)

Nice little piece of poetry, as always, directed toward others, to honour other people as you often do, Debbie!! I liked the merry tone throughout, even in the verses where you talk about her husband's passing, you make it sober and spiritual...
