What a sweet romance poem. I guess the narrator has "stars in her eyes" because of falling deeply in love. I like how you made this an ekphrastic poem with such an apt illustration!

Hi MariVal,
this has such a female energy entwined within its beauty. I look at this and imagine myself dreaming of the eyes I no am able to see. The smile that sits only in time... more like a certain someone who is no longer on this physical plain.

It's my mood today I guess... like it would be super easy to attach it to star-struck lovers, but that's not what I'm feeling. So I'll take all the magic words bringing this tanka to life with the richness of metaphor, the personal touch and yes, 'lost in the celestial you!'

Trademark Gypsy Queen... stunning presentation, even though this is a lacking a tad in your usual vibrant colour choice... for me, just right. Composition and construction... outstanding!

I was thinking about an actor. I have a huge crush on him. Hahaha I guess I'm not too old for it. He is from Chile but moved the USA at 18 years old. He has the whole package..handsome, funny, a killer smile, and talent. He started in New York but now lives in Los Angeles, like me. I dream of bumping into him in one of the best LA spots but at the same time, it stresses me out.... I feel 15 again. Well, more info that you needed. LoL hahaha

The beauty of haiku and tanka is that different people may have different interpretations.

I enjoyed the fantasy of this poem. I think often the feelings of love does feel like it has a fantasy element to it. Even when love is real. I enjoyed reading and again, a complete package. I have no idea how you continually do it.
