I like your modern Haiku - as always a beautiful picture presentation - especially the motion picture - very cool modern artwork - sad swan should be cheered up by being in such a beautiful setting - I would be...doing my Zen thing lol. Melancholic works for me and fits the new Modern haiku genre as far as I can tell. 'Sad' could be con-screwed as abstract it would seem. Good Job. AP

Yes, we don't know what the swan feel so we can't say is melancholic. Inthis modern Haiku, the observer is interpreting a mood with the color blue or the way he or she feels projected onto the swan.

Stunning presentation and words. Blue in the mood of the swan and the moonlight give that blue glow to the swan's feathers.

Super visuals. They set me in a
mellow, tranquil mood. Long years
ago I enjoyed playing Gerswin's
'Rapsody in Blue'. It would make a
great musical accompaniment for
this haiku. I read it slowly, syllable
by syllable. These two lines flow
smoothly into a cool word picture with a nice punch line. Julcia

Those are some great pictures! I guess the moonlight gives that blue glow to the swan's feathers. And the "blue" echoes the "melancholy" of the swan. Beautiful presentation!
