A very tender poem. A great interaction here with nature. Beautiful tender moments in your poem... like an appeal to look beyond exterior and to reach out in compassion.
Lovely to read, Gypsy. Awesome!

There is nothing common about your beautiful poem. It is done with great imagery, elegance, and the thought that while no one stops to admire this "common" flower, she knows He loves her.
Best wishes,
Mary

Your poem is telling us that no one knows what's behind the scenes (privately) or closed door. And you never know the true colors of a person until you know who they are and what they stand for ...

Another fine poem, Gypsy....it's like I always say, "There's nothing that inspires fine writing quite like horticulture." Okay, I've never said that in my life, but it sounds good!

A beautiful poem and done with great imagery. I do think when the master of the haiku (and that would be you) uses a few more words, the poetic ability is intensified. I think your writing is like this common flower that produces uncommon beauty. Outstanding. Terry.

This is a truly beautiful poem. The personification of the primrose brings a deeper understanding of how much she is loved, though she is unnoticed by passersby.

Thank you for the information on the Common Primrose. I enjoyed learning mor again them. I think many people feel common or unnoticed, but they are not. Everybody has something special and unique about them. Thank you for sharing this beautiful reminder. I am currently researching for a novel I'm going to beginning writing in a few months and the heroine is not the normal beauty on the outside, but beautiful on the inside.

I plant primroses in my tubs in November and they are still in flower. They are my bit of winter sunshine. I really enjoyed this poem. The common wild flowers are the most beautiful, especially in the woodlands. Well done, Gypsy, a really lovely poem, highlighting the pretty Primrose. :)) Sandra xx

I was impressed with the beauty of this work. In 44 or less syllables you have painted a beautiful picture of the primrose. I enjoyed your notes as well, as they were very helpful in my understanding of your poetry and how you presented. Have a good day and God bless Patricia.
