LOL Thank you for sharing this poem with us. When I retired from teaching the staff gave me a money tree with gift cards attached. Your poem caused me to smile.

Ahh the famous Money Tree but all spent?
The poor man needs to get that tree from the movie "Karate Kid!"
Wash on and wash off?
Thanks for sharing this and have a Blessed New Year.

Another fine poem, Gypsy...an excellent
money grows on trees poem; apparently I'm growing the wrong kind of tree. It sure would make my life easier I'm telling you!

Quite a few of us could use a money tree, that tree/trees don't look like they need much caring for (unlike money) very well written and presented****kahpot

Yep, although we had money when I retired, the 2008 market collapse halved our nest egg, but fortunately for us Australia has a fairly generous pension scheme, and is generally adequate for retirement, beautifully written Gypsy, an excellent post, blessings Roy

That's cute - and I liked the tiny "t" that makes the plant look more like a "plan." ! I hope the poor man finds some use of the "money tree" as "money doesn't grow on trees." I was surprised at that picture because the "money plant" I know have flat leaves. That looks to me like a jade plant but there could be more types of "money plants."

Oh, no. I googled money tree pictures.
I had one when I lived in Sacramento. I had a huge window in my dinning room and many plants. I had one ivy that crossed around my four walls. I miss it. I'll look for a better picture, thank you!
I love you, Big Sister.
