This is a Senryu about Shipping Stones.
Rich in memories

This is something all children try at least once in their life when they're next to the water.
The water silent would not be as much as a ripple.
You have to find flat stones because they skip better especially if they're about the size of a seashell.
The trick is when you throw them to curve your wrist Archer wrist and then hit the surface just right and I'll pop up several times.

I like this modern Senryu poem- good picture presentation- good connection between lines - very simple poem - connects the action to a fond memory of a father- wish all children had these kinds of memories!! Even a few would be nice-Good Job AP

I can remember visiting with my grandparents and going down to the creek and skipping stones with Grandpa and Dad. Those were good times. Thank you for bringing back that memory.

Good memories of family are exhibited in your short poem. While I did skip stones, I did not do with my Dad or children. Maybe I should add to my bucket list for my grandchildren!
