I'm sorry, but I ran out of extra stars on Monday! This definitely deserves a a yellow one.
I'm not usually into horror, but I loved your perspective.
Besides, I've always being intrigued by haiburn ever since I saw it for the first time.
Thanks for sharing your poems and the educational notes.

Another fine tale from the crypt, Gypsy, one to make Dean proud. I once though a demon had crawled into be with me, but I'd been drinking heavily and it turned out to be my wife. I've since come to realize I wasn't wrong!

Your Hailbun caused me to smile. I know a strange response, but I actually have had this happen to me. It was my large tabby, Monty, tugging at the blankets. LOL Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed reading.
couldn't turn my head but I felt his weight on the mattress as he lay next to me (he lay beside me... Now, I am wondering about this, beside is to be used with humans, next to with objects, does a demon count as a human or object? I'm not sure.)

Hi Gypsy, it wouldn't be Halloween if I didn't think of Dean. I just thought of him earlier this week. It seems unreal that he is gone. Your poem is filled with vivid imagery. Dean suffered from bad dreams too. Perhaps, he was trying to talk to you. Well chosen photos. Keep the blue waters flowing. Margaret ~ LateBloomer

Holy cow, I hope it wasn't Dean, we loved eachother. I always think of Dean when I write horror. We had a couple of books of horror haiku, one is published and the other was unfinished when he died. Unfortunately, we both got very sick towards the end and we grew apart. I know how much he loved Halloween. It's nice that so many people loved him in fanstory... it was his favorite thing to do. :)
Thank you very much, Margaret. I always look forward to your kind reviews.

Dean would only visit you in a good way. Remember, it's Halloween, scary creepy things happen. Xo. M

To be near a nightmare is worse than dreaming of a nightmare. When Halloween arrives, some of the masks are so frightening, that you wonder if the devil is actually disguised.

I think if Dean were alive he would appreciate it. That nightmare must have been so awful. I haven't had a dream that could begin to rival that one, this is so beautifully written friend Gypsy, blessings Roy
