I have "pun A.D.D.", I think. Is the pivot word "singed?" I read Helen's account of the Pheonix being in an old translation of the bible (I think I've got that right)-- and I love the intermingling of Pheonix with redemption (through resurrection?) here... Your poem is beautiful.
I need to bone up on pivot words!

Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. I like how you used the artwork and the coloring to give us a complete package. It all presented itself very well. The message was excellent. Yes, Jesuse rose from the death for our salvation.

Beautiful, spiritual poem! The bird phoenix isn't mentioned in the Bible but there is the port city in Crete called Phoenix. But you applied the resurrection idea well as our immortal souls are made alive even after death because of Christ.

Thank you, Helen. Should I correct the information about the bible? You know best.
I hope you are well. Hugs!

You got me researching, MariVal! In Catholic tradition the connection to the phoenix was made to Christ's resurrection, started by the fourth pope. So you can leave it or just say that it was St. Clement who said it.

Hi Gypsy, your poem is filled with vivid imagery. I especially liked:
His love brings redemption.
A poem of truth. Beautiful presentation. Keep the blue waters flowing.

Every line is true to the point. God is the redeemer, no matter what the situation. I like how you phased the colors of the text to go from light to a brilliant (hot) red.
Very nice.
