Mom spends much of the day preparing a single specialty for us. When we learn all she did for us, we understand the role she played in our lives, and the need for us to be generous as well.

The Sugar Snap Peas look delicious! The first two lines of this poem
were inviting, appetizing and creative. The last line gives Mom the credit! The artwork is awesome and compliments this poem.

I like your poem- excellent picture presentation- poem simple and clear picture- reminds of days past when Aunt would pick a bucket full and we would sit outside on wooden back porch- shelling into a bowl for dinner- good job

Your haiku is well presented, Gypsy. I liked the color scheme, the
colored fonts, the image, and the satori. Everything fits in a natural
way.
I agree--one ingredient in Moms' cooking was always love.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Hello Gypsy, this poem is so very sweet, just like the peas.
I especially liked:
mom's labor of love
(G, everything tastes better when it's made with Love from Mom)
Great photo choice. A pleasure to read. This poem made me smile.
Well done. LateBloomer

Love this veggie, love your "seasoning!"
A yummy haiku...
Note to self: Hit the Farmer's Market tomorrow!
Amazing how the glory of season can come down to such a simple thing!
Sublime!
