I really enjoyed the picture of the characters present at Mercy At The Wicket Gate. Your words showed that faith, trust and belief are in the profound interest of God. I really enjoyed the last two lines of the last stanza. They truly showed the way. Blessings.

This is a beautifully written spiritual poem. It has a nice flow and rhyme scheme. It has a nice overall presentation and beautiful photo choice to compliment your words. I enjoyed the read. Nicely done.

This is another great poem you've written, Roy. There are times when we don't feel God near. I think it is those times when He wants us to trust and not just feel that He is near. A great poem as always.

Another great piece you've penned, Roy. I do enjoy reviewing your work. I haven't been around for quite some time. So much going on in my life. Lost my father and 17 others over the last 16 months. Finally pulling myself back above the sadness. Jesus has been there with me through it all, don't think I could have survived it on my own.

Another great piece you've penned, Roy. I do enjoy reviewing your work. I haven't been around for quite some time. So much going on in my life. Lost my father and 17 others over the last 16 months. This too, is a beautiful declaration of faith and parts of it sound very much like an earnest prayer. I enjoyed reading (as usual) your melodic and rhythmic lines and aabb rhymes. But mostly I enjoyed the message which gives glory and gratitude to God. I always appreciate your author notes too. They never fail to inspire.
I would change two tiny things, (I think) and that would be:
*** and lead our hearts to sing (leave the 's' off of lead)
*** when God's child has grasped (its) worth.
You decide if these are changes you should make. I could be mistaken, I know. The poem is wonderful in melody and message. MM

I'm growing weary of all this religious writing. I shouldn't review, I know, but I must have a suicidal wish to do so. I've always said I admire you for your faith. But the same understanding doesn't seem to include those who don't. Ulla:)))

If you don?t want to read, don?t Ulla, you don?t have to say "I admire your faith" because you don?t, you despise it.and your insulting me! Please remember I know what it?s like not to believe, but unlike you my mind was never closed about things I didn?t understand, I didn?t change my mind, I simply opened it, you can?t possibly know there is no God, so your lack of belief, is simply ridiculous, and incredibly prejudiced, but you think it?s open and it?s not. Bless you in what you have left.

Oh deare me. What on earth did I do to rattle your cage so much, and what on earth do you know about me anyway? As I admittedly don't know about you either. I hope your God will forgive you this unfriendly outburst.
I do actually respect every religious belief anyone might have, but I also expect to be respected for my beliefs. So what I have left is a happy life, living where I want be and enjoying my wonderful family, and all my friends from many walks of life. I travel all over the world, and always have. Yes I am indeed a poor soul who needs rescuing. Have a nice day. Ulla.

This poem transcends all these potential blocks so well as indeed steadfast faith can do. The imagery works well with the poem particularly when it is re-visited at the end.
