Very poetic almost zen like, your poem made me feel peaceful. Maybe it was the repetition of the gs & cs. While the word dance brought a bit of magic is to the piece. Whatever the reason great poem.

Your contest entry reads well, Gypsy. Good job with the correct syllable count per line. I like the use of g alliteration and the gazelles. The picture is beautiful, too.
Best wishes in the contest.
Respectfully, Jan

Hello Gypsy :)
I enjoyed reading your 5/7/5 poem.
Your use of alliteration is generous and the imagery you present is vivid - what a great scene and you give those gazelles character. Nice!
Best wishes as always, Debra

Gypsy,
Alliterations galore! We all wonder what animals we can envision in those white puffy or cirrus clouds.
Graceful gazelle is a good image. Good photograph you chose.

What an interesting word picture you paint to go along with the lovely photo. It is easy to imagine those cautious glances upward through gazelle lashes.

Your lovely, descriptive poem makes excellent use of the few allowed syllables. It conveys an expressive message about one part of nature being in awe of another. Effective use of alliteration

Another fine poem, Gypsy----and by surreptitiously, do you mean like I could never do in Junior High when I was staring at Kathy? I always got caught looking!

Yep, this confirms my epiphany today, like the gazelle, not wanting to appear to be worried about the celestial cirrus clouds, goes about Judy munching away, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Hello Gypsy, your 5/7/5 poem is filled with vivid imagery and good alliteration for the G and C letters. I especially liked:
graceful gazelles glance
(I can just see it)
Well chosen artwork. A pleasure to read. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer

This was very well done, Gypsy. Not only was the picture of the cirrus clouds but your words definitely showed the gazelles gaze upon the sky. I am so glad you explained your words in the narrative notes, some might not catch their meaning. Blessed be n hugs.

Yes, if I'm not sure I always check the dictionary and think somebody else may need it too. :)
Thank you, Aryr. You are the best. It's always a pleasure to hear from you. Blessed be.
