Good morning dear one!!!
This is so wonderful for Liz... she will just love it I am so sure...
I just love the image of Sunset Blvd as I grew up close to it and of course
watched the T.V. show 77 Sunset Strip... I wonder how many out there know that weekly show?

Hi Lisa, I love that you grew up in that area. And how funny that you expected there to be an agency. LOL, I might of too.

I sure appreciate all your very kind words for Liz and her poem, just as I know she will.
As much as the show, 77 Sunset Strip was a little before I was old enough to enjoy it, the song came right back to me. So I figured my parents and older siblings used to watch it. It was a fun theme to use for her.

Thank you so very much, my very dear friend.
    Love, Debi

Hi Debi, this is a wonderful birthday wish and tribute to Liz. She is a wonderful woman and has lived an amazing life. Of special note:

I hear this woman roar
(Liz is definitely a high-achiever. She's left no stone unturned.)

There's nothing else to say, accept ... Happy Birthday Liz. You Rock!

Good rhyming. Awesome photo choice and vaca choice. A pleasure to read. This poem made me smile. Xo. Margaret

Hey there dear SOTU, I actually had one person think that this was for Helen Reddy's birthday. I suppose if you don't look at the description.

I sure appreciate all your very kind words for Liz and her poem, just as I know she will.

I remember the song from 77 Sunset Strip, and I remember Kookie ... Kookie, Kookie, lend me your comb. Lol.

OMGosh, sis, I forgot about that song. Sure, that would be from that cause I watched the video from start to finish and they keep doing a different start with new co-stars each time. Anyway they show him combing his hair over and over. He was a cutie, tho. I see him in a lot of other old shows.

How funny is this, go back to the poem and look on the big video I just added. In my email, Terry had loaded it for me. I never even thought about using it, but it is American Bandstand episode I think. Connie Steven's and Edd Byrnes

Oh Liz, I am tickled pink that you loved your poem. I truly wanted yours to be perfect for you. You are every bit as special as the poem says.

When you watch the video, make sure you watch it until it ends as it shows many starts to the show and different co-stars that you will recognize.
Second video of Helen Reddy singing I am Woman, (hear me roar)
Pertains to the part of the poem when I wrote, I can hear you roar.

I did send you a pm message with the link, but I will give it to you here as well, if you want to send it to any of your family or friends. It is so easy to do with just copy and paste it to the search engine bar. (example-Google)
Thank you again and for the six stars, that you deserve for sure.

Hi Helen, She was a little bummed that it wasn't going to happen the day before like she thought, but was happy for that part to go into the poem.

I sure appreciate all your very kind words for Liz and her poem, just as I know she will. The theme was actually her idea. Pretty clever!

As much as the show, 77 Sunset Strip was a little before I was old enough to enjoy it, the song came right back to me. So I figured my parents and older siblings used to watch it. It was a fun theme to use for her.
