Eric Clapton is the only three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame--: once as a solo artist and separately as a member of the Yardbirds and Cream. Clapton has been referred to as one of the most important and influential guitarists of all time. Thank for doing this grand tribute.

THANKS for reading it and responding. The yardbirds, I've got their music on my computer, as well as all of Cream's albums. For some reason since I first read this review, Cream's "World of Pain" has been playing in my head. It's not even my favorite Cream song, that would be "Tales of Brave Ulysses."

But don't forget JJ Cale, EC's mentor. There is a tribute to JJ that Eric put out, and dammit, I can't remember the album's name! I think I'm getting early onset dementia here. I keep forgetting th.."They call me the Breeze," is the name!

Excellent acrostic, Jeni-Luna. I enjoyed reading it, since I like Eric Claption, also.

But you've issued a challenge and I don't know if I'm up to it; I have so many favorite musicians, and in so many genres. I'm going to have to think about this one.

Anyhow, this was a fine poem and I enjoyed it. Best wishes -- Margaret

Well done, mate. This acrostic is fantastic. He is also one of my favorite musicians of all time. Tears in Heaven, Wonderful Tonight, My Father's Eyes are just few of his beautiful songs. Very talented too. And you picked wonderful descriptive words to describe him. Brilliant idea to honor him. I will give a thought on this form too. I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for sharing. As always, you did a good job. All the best.

My Father's Eyes, Sweet Home Chicago, Bell Bottom Blues, Anyday. I can't list more, it would turn this reply into a manifesto as I listed every song or band he's ever done or played with.

Excellent Poem! The poem is descriptive, creative and interesting. The artwork is perfect and compliments this poem well. The background color and print color you used for this poem is engaging.

I am so sorry to hear that about your child, Bob, that you lost. I can understand how you feel. These all of a sudden deaths blindside us.

I'm glad that you enjoy Clapton's work, yes he can PLAY that guitar! And thanks for reviewing my acrostic.

This is a well-composed acrostic and a glowing tribute to Old Slow Hand himself, Luna.
Layla, Cocaine, No More Tears in Heaven; all are just a few of my favorite hits of Mr. Clapton's.
It's hard to believe the man is 71 years-old and still doin' his thing.
Nice nod to his talent, creativity, and longevity.

Nice nod indeed, Dean. I like when he does "Ridin' With the King," with BB. Tears in Heaven always sets me off in tears cause of Mick. I love it though. I liked the layla days when it was Derek and the Dominoes. They were awesome then. Thanks for reviewing, Dean.

A very good acrostic, although I am trying to prevent the fact that I don't care for rock and roll to color my review. (I recently put up a poem about the Andrews Sisters!) But this acrostic works well, with possibly one exception; The second verse which ends with "guitar, his" with the word "his" meant to connect to the next verse. In an acrostic, while lines are frequently enjambed to continue a thought, the use of the comma followed by the single word "his" makes for a grammatical faux-pas that is conspicuous. Please remember, this is just my personal opinion. Thanks.

Love, love, love Eric Clapton. He is one of the best, if not THE best, musician in the world.

Your acrostic is super. I like the way it is formatted with the capital letter starting each line. The color scheme works well. Awesome picture, too.

I believe we will see more of these on FS as authors write one for their favorite musician.

Good job & thanks for sharing. Jan

You wrote a wonderful acrostic poem, honoring your favorite musician. Well done, by creating your poem, using all the letters of your title.
