I remember how your future brother-in-law snitched on you about being with all those guys in the restaurant. I guess Evan was sure you were going to break up with him and you surprised him with the marriage proposal which changed the world for him! I was chuckling all through your retelling.

Thank you Helen for the review. I started passing out Friday and had to go to the emergency room and have a pacemaker put in I just got it this morning so I'll probably be off fans for a while. Beth

Oh, I'm shocked to hear this. You'll be in my prayers, Beth. But I'll also be off Fanstory for about three weeks or so. Hugs and prayers!

Rhomus should not have interfered, especially since you had explained the situation. A pity Evan turned cold but maybe he was not used to confrontation and didn't want to run the risk of losing you. At least you had the courage to take matters into your own hands to win him back! Well written.

I had a college "romance" if you could call it that, that went a little like your diner experience, but when I met my wife, I proposed early on and, thank God, there were no petty divisions. Thanks for sharing this look into your personal history.

Thank you Jim, I always appreciate your reviews. I had to get a pacemaker put in this morning because I started passing out Friday or maybe late Facebook posting anything else for a while. Beth Beth

Please take care of your health. Your voice is important to me and all of FanStory.

Thank you Jim. Appreciate the review and also the concern for my health I'm feeling some better today. I'm staying with my daughter after having the pacemaker put in. Beth

May God bless you richly. You're fortunate to have a caring family.

A nice read, with a good set up in the beginning and a solid close at the end. I'm not much of a "reviewer", I just know when I like something. One small comment, the last sentence, I think is awkward, "... I had back the guy that ...", to me it doesn't seem right?

I'm glad your relationship worked out the way it was supposed to. I enjoyed reading. Another good write.
"Then, how about this weekend?" He was testing me. (He tested me. This is stronger.)

Wow! now this is a real treat to read of budding and declared true love between two young people and their sincerity and candour in expressing it - thanks for sharing this personal tale.

I give you six stars for the happy ending, but more so, for the strong woman you were to take the bull by the horns and go after what you really wanted. You took the chance to set things straight and that took a lot of courage. Bravo! I am thrilled that it all worked out the way it was meant to be.

Hello Beth. I am enjoying your story and how you flow from one important point to another in a seamless manner. Good writing. This one melted my heart with the sincere way in which you presented the emotional upheaval that your characters had to endure. Well written!

Lovely, Beth! Not too sentimental. Just a perfect blend of romance and the taming of a young woman who finally realised how much she stood to lose. Your self-confidence which had grown throughout this book came to the fore and you were determined not to let any misunderstanding come between you. Evan too had proved his commitment and love. Warmest wishes, Debbie
