This is a hot poem. And you definitely display some hot creative skills. Nevertheless, I was captivated from beginning to end. For, you have a way with displaying your words. Keep Writing

Your poetry takes me to places I might never go ...and I thank you for that. I have read a little of the Bible, mostly old testament, but your words bring it more to life through your poetry. Thank you for sharing.

A poem of faith travelling through a spiritual dark valley at times, but coming out again into the sunshine, victorious. As with "Footprints" we can be assured of His presence even when we feel alone.
Suggestion: Last stanza, second line, should read "Our prayer and love sustain us, and lead our hearts to sing" (not "leads")
Lovely writing.

Well written and moving. I do feel the absence of God's presence. I need Jesus. Dancing with the devil way to long. Your talent is off the charts. Every word was moving. Perfect.

I?ve been genuinely trying to get hold of you, but I?m doing something wrong, is your country?s prefix +1? Mine is +61 Thank you for the thumbs up. Blessings Roy

Yes it's +1

Feel like I'm slowly dying.

No, you?re not Charity, part of faith is simply stepping of a cliff, no literally of course, one step towards God, then He runs to you.

Thanks charity.

Royowen - This is an excellent vignette of the path through faith, from sorrow to praise. I particularly like that you chose to use a dark background. I think even in the praise portion of faith, there is still darkness present. The rhyme and meter here are smooth, and overall the work reads as excellent commentary on the experience of faith. Thank you for sharing.

I enjoyed reading this spiritually dynamic poem. I find it admirable to place your faith so openly and honestly through your writing. I can tell your faith is strong and unyielding.

This is another beautiful poem. You ask the question why do you still weep but Christ wept because he was able to empathize with the suffering of others and if we weep for the same reason , what is wrong with that.

When I read this, I felt every emotion that faith gives us. When you love God with all your heart, soul and mind, the result is the joy that your poem explains.
As I too ask for God to strengthen my faith daily, I am a sinner and know that as the saying goes, 7 days without prayer, makes one weak. As always, your poem is beautiful!

I don't know how you do it, Roy, but you have the heart and soul of a true poet. Like others before it, your poem flows beautifully and clearly, and contains yet another wonderful message. Although you talk often about your faith it never sounds like you're preaching to, nor judging others. Thanks for sharing your wonderful gifts.
