Illusion of Life

A chapter in the book Act of Endurance

Spider and the Fly

"Watch me", flow over it a flower, beyond blow fly in wind spec, high upper gust swirling, befriending a spider below: talks a fly.

"We-e", spin body black frame, turns its spinning, flaps of wings high in the air, rapidly beat at the same time; twins: joyfully game.

Hunter seen in pit dark, hovering, in open sun, its reply, a pun, "I can't fly, in the air, see a dawn; I'm motionless: sit is my fun ".

Killer, peers over his trap spoke, "show to me any wonder", ideal rejecting as blunder show off; fly not ponder: said to him.

Fly states, "I'll do things, modify tricks, enhance it hooks, soars I will dance uppers "; seen as a friend: glance at they lock eyes.

Upwards into clear spot, twirling in the air slowly, nears an insect raises hair, super speeds; judged act: sight a fair performance.

Fly, roundabout did turn a hider sight a fly viewed a crawler, it to move not wider, to doubt in mind; sense food: a lone rider.

Fly it's stopped, by a trap stuck in a sticky web, it's a string grip, motionless too embarrassed to sing, sling legs; spider: slurps a friend.

A boastful heart its act of self assurance, urging to do a folly; enters interest falling that will harm: no escape of its adventures.
