The Distance to a Dream

To Mickey, with love.

Look
 ahead;
There is such
wonderment just
waiting there for you ~
Open your mind; you will
be transported to the land
of magic. Hobbits and Centaurs
dancing ‘round a tree in the meadow;
these enchanting creatures want you to join
them. Beasts of the forest come out at night
Frolicking under the shining moon.
All you need to join in the fun
is childlike faith and belief.
Go to bed, close your eyes,
allow your mind to
follow your heart
the distance
to a
dream.
