I've really enjoyed this TV season,
Since it's been loaded with music and soul.
Lovely melody and song the reason,
Less violence and sex, more rockin' and roll.

I've been tuning in to Nashville and Glee,
Smash, American Idol, and the Voice.
Music programs are much better to me
For pure entertainment, they're the best choice.

So go, pull up the most comfortable chair,
And get ready to start those toes tappin'.
Take a brief moment to let down your hair,
And just see what the music makes happen.
