Maria put her head on the table, overcome by fear.
The police told her to wait near the phone; they’d
contact her if they found Danny.
The door opened and Danny walked in, looking quite
contrite.
”Danny!” Maria cried.
“I love you, Mummy.” Danny hugged her tight.
Thank you, God.
