fionageorge: Back home on Tassie soil. Always good to sleep in one's own bed again, but boy, it is cold! Only 5 degrees C yesterday, and not much warmer today. All mountains and the highlands are covered in snow. Majestic sight from the airplane, and beautiful from our living room. 'Gee, it's good to be back home again', but, what a wonderful holiday, spent with family and my dear friend, Fietje (Dutchie, or Fia). So many happy times, so much sadness at leaving everyone behind once more....
Dutchie: Hi Marijke. I'm glad you're safe home again. I had a wonderful time with you and George and the whole family. Thanks girl for the unforgetable time.Hugs and kisses, Fietje.

This morning's sunrise with fog over Launceston City and the Tamar River from my window.

I've just arrived home from a beautiful autumn stroll to the city. A gentle breeze caressed my face. The early morning mist had lifted, and the beautiful Tamar River beckoned me to stop and enjoy the moment - which I did. 'Wouldn't be dead for quids' as the old saying goes.

    JeJo: that is beautiful! -
