Whenever you see leopard,
You’ll SPOT me, too (Ha! Get it?)
For it is my Achille’s Heel,
But I do not regret it.
Jaguars, cheetahs count, as well;
The dots just drive me wild.
Like them, I’m uninhibited –
Recalcitrantly styled.
It used to be with just my clothes,
But leopards won’t be tamed.
Now, it’s also in my home.
(This wild cat’s upped her game.)
The spots look great with everything:
My bed, my bath, my dishes.
A full house draped in leopard print –
That’s one of my great wishes!
Whenever I am in a store
With frumpy frocks displayed,
I seek out any leopard togs
So I won’t feel dismayed.
And if there’s even one for sale,
Temptation shouts: “LET’S BUY IT!”
That’s my naughty lot in life.
(I’m kidding; you should try it!)
‘Cause as temptations go, I ask:
“Is this an awful thing?”
Besides, look what it’s brought to me:
A life of spotted zing!
Grrrr-ARRRRR!
