Alaskans agree
apricity in April
thaws a frozen heart
migrating cranes, swans return
listen to the snow melting

The picture was taken at Ice Alaska's World Ice Art Championships in Fairbanks, Alaska. Their season ended a week early due to melting and early warmer weather.

Apricity is the warmth of sunlight in winter. We have truly experienced that this month.
