Representation (acrostic sonnet)

Name Contest Winner 
 
 
 
 
      Remarkably there's few that grasp its weight.
       Essential is the worth of sight's assist.
        Promoting in support what we create,
         Regarding sense of awe our words have missed.
          Effective are the added pictures here,
           Seductive font and hues in perfect blend.
            Elaborate, the art we engineer,
             Now offering in full what we intend.
              Though what exactly is this ruse we live?
               A writing site with pictures masking verse?
                The sin a writer's heart can not forgive,
                 Implanting forced facades or even worse.
                  Objectively I spurn but heed my sage. 
                    Naive, the masses yearn a pretty page.

As per the contest rules, I was under
the impression this acrostic was
supposed to only be one word.
Maybe I was wrong.
