A peaceful death
by Iza Deleanu
They call it a peaceful death, white and velvety. It can envelop you like a cocoon but without the transformation of a butterfly. Those who fall under its spell find themselves frozen in time and space. This is how the concept of cryogenics comes to life. No normal human would survive this. "Well, at least, death will come fast, and I will feel nothing; I will just close my eyes and let go. But the brain had other plans; it pushed her to wiggle out from under that cold embrace, though she was unsuccessful. Yetty watched her struggle and said, “Don’t worry, my love; soon you’ll be my forever frozen bride!”
