The Aurora Borealis
by Gypsy Blue Rose
fictional
Nocturnal grave awakens at dusk covered with a veil of stars.
Tangled in the aurora borealis with a soul full of celestial lights that won’t reflect in your vacuous eyes.
At dawn, I’ll watch sparrows guarding nests on the bough because life goes on.
What will I do without you? In these pastoral valleys and rolling hills throughout the land.
I lost you and nothing can bring you back. Our love dies in the dark.

"Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame." - Song of Solomon 8:6
