A diamond poem

Of Faith and Hope

when
darkness
followed me
I ran stumbling
scared and all alone
as silence set my world
spiraling without direction
while distorting  future's vision
I fell  dependent  on  faith  and  hope

now braced upon my strongest belief
I lead  this life in  trusted hands
as sight I lost now regained
my path is surely shown
for faith in my steps
allowing hope
to return
a light
now
