Depleted 
Exhausted
Squandered
Couldn't see the truth
 
Absorbed 
Engrossed 
Devoured
Took but never gave back
 
Rotting 
Decayed
Spoiled
Everything was a lie
 
Agony
Torment
Misfortune
Deeds come back to haunt
 
Concealed
Shrouded
Unseen
A missing person never to be found
