Common Sense For Seniors 25-36

by Karen Cherry

Start your day with a nice mantra, a song, or a joke. Something to make you smile. Make a face in the mirror if you need to. Studies prove this works to boost your I.Q.

Eat your vegetables at every meal.

Potato chips do not count ( unless they are dill-flavored).

When you can help others do so.

You will get as much or more from it as they do.

Ignore those who put you down. The only person's approval you need is your own.

Do things manually whenever you can. Leaf blowers should be destroyed, use a broom.

If you haven't used something in six months (unless it is a keepsake) donate it or sell it. It makes less for you to dust.

Think about someone in your life, and send them kind thoughts, good wishes, or prayers. They add up.

Support small businesses whenever you can. They are the backbone of the world.

Give up all high fructose corn syrup.

Whatever you learn in this life, that can help others, pass it on.

You are not as fat as you think.

Be nice to your brothers and sisters, you never know when you might need a kidney.

I have no idea how I came up with most of this stuff. I am old, and I have read a lot. There are no more original thoughts. Think about that!
