A Rhyming Wave poem for Potlatch Poetry

Moonlight Walk

by damommy

Tonight, the moon is shining bright,
it’s shining, shining, shining bright.
In lovely light, I walk at night
when all the world seems calm.

I venture out with great aplomb,
and stroll with great, with great aplomb.
The quietness serves as a balm,
a balm that soothes my soul.

I see the stars begin their troll
begin, begin, begin their troll
across the sky, their nightly goal
to tell us all is well.

Tonight, the moon is shining bright
to tell us all is well.
