JIYU-SHI poem for the Japanese Poetic Club
A chapter in the book One Thousand Cranes
Harbor Gray Morning
by Gypsy Blue Rose
harbor gray morning
cooled by southern salty sea stirred sorrowful blues of pain that won't go away so I prayed for hope and a sign that I am loved — a breeze caressed me while the high tide kissed my toes |
Jiyu-Shi poem consists of a combination of 5/7 syllables stanzas. You may write as many stanzas as you like and any topic. It never rhymes. The two 5/7 stanza lines are connected grammatically.
