A teacher's dislike

Hatred

I cannot tell, I do not know
How she came to hate me so.
The icy contempt in her eyes
Showed with what vigour she despised.
The years passed; there was no release.
Her venom, it would never cease.
Time's winged chariot has run far,
But nothing can erase the scar.
