This work has reached the exceptional level
A commentary on the recent school shooting in Michigan.

Separate Pools

The author has placed a warning on this post for violence.
A couple bought their son a gun
Didn't teach him love for anyone
Their idea of familial fun
Was putting "critters" on the run

The boy thought his new gun was cool
So, he took it with him to school
In violation of the rules
Victims' blood formed separate pools.
