Shadow Figures

A chapter in the book Act of Endurance

Lord Dredd

by TPAC

He's a cat in shadows, unlike the majority to dwell upon the land, an opposite life of say norms, can we chat, rushes him to sleep; just before the dawn: a bat.

His home is built, it like most people, in the house rooms, holding beds bedrooms, all untouched; it's not really a strange thing, rush to large basement; he zooms: into his coffin.

An average person, views an image of a man, seen tall, hairless baby's face, never had to shave, found reason; does this stranger acts to kill: blood won a served breakfast.

Early sun rises, at home its dome looks quite empty in, come evening come shadow flash, daily you can see him; changing into coming dark a form: exploring the land.

He's in darkness, blend within, unseen, dresses all in black, hunt each bend seeks red drink, sucking others blood a trend, bite teeth into; firmly: stopping hunger goods.

This man, not as any person, you know, show foul acts, deeds for blood, dead fully, he's not buried low, appears while you're asleep; gate unknown: a vampire.

These figures, disclosed as shadow people, that venture not seen by us, viewing throughout time them, recorded set events in man's existence, lives beings among us.
