A Quadrilew poem

The Dip

by damommy

Dance with me, my love,
we’ll float across the floor.
Closer, turtledove,
to me, I do implore.

We’ll float across the floor,
and show how it’s done.
They’ll call for an encore,
but we’ve just begun.

Closer, turtledove.
You know the steps so well,
We fit hand in glove,
like clapper in a bell.

To me, I do implore,
join me hip to hip,
and by applause galore,
we’ll French onion dip.
