Write a Clerihew poem
Poetry Contest
Here's something new. A Clerihew is a very specific kind of short humorous verse. It typically contains the following properties:
It is biographical and usually whimsical, showing the subject from an unusual point of view;
It has four lines of irregular length (for comic effect) with an AABB rhyme scheme;
The first line consists solely (or almost solely) of a well-known person's name;
It is NOT satirical, abusive or obscene.
See the contest page for examples, requirements and contest rules.
