Write a Supernatural story (fiction). The word length is 450 words or less. Do NOT write about, or refer, to Halloween in any way--no witches, bats, zombies, trick-or-treating, for example. This is NOT a Halloween story. NO 'blood & guts' gory story, such as murder of people. Do NOT include time travel among characters. Do NOT have any music that automatically plays when story begins. You may use 1 picture that has no words, animation, or music, one color font with one color background, dedication line (optional) which doesn't count in word length, and author notes that may include 1 video (may have vocal sound/music).

Write a Supernatural story (fiction). The word length is 450 words or less. Do NOT write about, or refer, to Halloween in any way--no witches, bats, zombies, trick-or-treating, for example. The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently . There are 15 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. At least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.

All contest entries will be reviewed by the Contest Entry Compliance Committee. The committee will read all entries to ensure that the contest rules are being followed. If your entry is disqualified you will not be refunded the entry fees. The committee will review the entries when the deadline is reached. The voting will begin after the committee determines that all entries qualify and disqualify those that do not.

If a word count is not specified above there is no word count requirement. Recommended length is 5,000 words or less.

A voting booth will be created shortly after the deadline is reached. At that time all participants will be contacted so they can vote.

If you plan to write for this contest reserve a spot. There are a limited number of entries.

A vote by writers will determine the winner. The decision is final. All members that submit a work are encouraged to vote.
