The list poem has been around for hundreds of years, written by famous poets such as Emily Dickinson and Maya Angelou. It is a simple form, but also requires the use of poetic devices such as alliteration, enjambment, rhyme (or not), etc.
Definition of list poem: A list poem can be a list or inventory of items, people, places, or ideas. ? It often involves repetition. ? It can include rhyme or not.
