Having read all the other entries, this stood out head and shoulders for me. I've rarely heard a nonet sound more beautiful than this.
I have to admit, it's late and I'm too tired to read the rest, but I like this one enough to give it my vote, I think it's exceptional and I don't think I'd like one any better.
The fantastic usage of word 'thunder' 'storm.'
