Of the other two that made the top of my list as fully developed flash fiction crafted perfectly and not cliche in any way?just great stories?this one surprised me the most. A beautiful twist to make me grin! Well done 50 word story!
This was hard. So many good ones.
I never saw that ending coming, which, for me, is what I love about Flash stories: the surprise. This one was exceptional.
Clever, coherent, and concise!
I liked all the stories. The more I read, the more difficult it became to choose. But I found this one specially tender and funny.
Wish we had 5 or 10 votes to distribute as we wished among all entries. I had two contenders for first place and two more were close runners up.
