Excellent social commentary. This country should do more to help its animals. There is no excuse for gassing and shooting animals (which a lot of shelters practice); humane euthanasia with an injection is enough. I think when considering getting an animal, people should get one from a shelter and save the life - and this animal will make a most wonderful and grateful companion. This is heart-stopping picture - thank you for raising awareness to this tragedy.
Love the message. They don't deserve this kind of treatment.
