Evocative and appealing. I love this write.
I enjoyed the ambience of the parlour; the wood fire, the bookcases, the coffee table and the sense of family and camaraderie among those sitting there. I thought this story really gave "a sense of place" that was uniquely and vividly described.
A well written description of a small village.
