Vote For A Couplet Story

The poem must tell a story.
The poetic form is a series of two word couplets.
That is, Two words to each line, not a series of paired lines.
Each couplet must be able to stand in its own right, so no splitting a thought phrase or idea across two or more lines.
Rhyming is optional.
The Couplet Story can be any maximum length with a minimum of 8 lines.
