AJ McCall: Hey everyone... I won't be active on my paid account after June 7th cause other things have to be paid for.. just giving a heads-up.

God bless!!!
    karenina: Hurry back! -

scongrove: You are a talented writer and a wonderful person! I'm so thrilled to have got to know you here. Keep writing my friend! -

AJ McCall: I want to thank everyone who revied the chapters of my book Dava and Goliath. I appreciate and love all the feedback. But I will be taking down chapter four because I realize it's not key to my story. All I wanted to do was highlight 'The Garden,' in that chapter. I'll be revising chapter 3 and making it longer and then post a completely different chapter 4. This is all occurring since I read over my story and thought it could be done a little bit better. I'm not sure if I'm the only person who feels this way. But right now, it does, lol.

AJ McCall: Can anyone give me an example of a terrifying description for a goblin? I'm working on a story where the goblins are being used to spread disease by biting their victims. I want to make them have almost the same ferociousness as a werewolf... Any thoughts are welcome.
lancellot: There is an Anime/Manga called Goblin Slayer. You should read or see it. -
AJ McCall: Okay... I'll check it out. Thanx -
    AnnaLinda: A covid-19 injection -

AJ McCall: Got a question, a second edition of a book is basically that book re-written, right? I want to re-write a book I published about three years ago...
Brett Matthew West: A key question might be what benefit would the second edition have for readers of the first edition? Needs to be more than minor edits of misspelled words and a few scene detail changes. -
AJ McCall: Actually, it's a pretty short book and I wanted to make it longer since the entire book is around a hundred pages or so. I want to almost a completely new story for this character; give it some depth in order for my readers to get to know her and the other characters better. -
    AJ McCall: *almost make -
Sandra Barlow: I don't think that it means that the book is rewritten. It can mean that there are some changes, or that the book went out of print. -

AJ McCall: For those who read my post, The Light, I just entered the contest. Cross your fingers for me!!

AJ McCall: Can anyone help with describing an 'underground room'? My main character is underground in a room made of dirt but I'm not really sure how to write it...
Adwin Clark Ace: Not sure of the story's location, or the direction you're going in, and how you're needing it to read, but maybe this will spur some ideas for you.

"Georgia red clay adds a touch of color to these walls. Usually red isn't my first choice. It doesn't really scream "welcome friends", but you can't be too picky when you're living underground." -
AJ McCall: Hmm... it's underground right now. But it's not a tunnel. More like an underground room. And the dirt is more like a normal color: black or dark brown but thank you. -

AJ McCall: For those who read the 1st Chapter of Jonetta's Rhythm, I'd suggest you go back and read the ending because I did edit it a bit. The second chapter will be coming soon!
    Lobber: -

AJ McCall: Does anyone know a good website for describing loud sounds?
    greyson ernst: why!?!?! -
nor84: There are various writers' phrase books that describe the senses, including hearing. Check out Amazon books. There's no website I know of that does it. There's also the adjectives in the dictionary: banged, crashed, boomed, deafening, etc. -
AJ McCall: Okay, thank you! -

AJ McCall: For all those who enjoyed My DNA's What?! I will be posting the chapter soon. Still working on it. If you think you can help, PM me.

Have a lovely Sunday morning!! (Or afternoon!)

AJ McCall: We seem to have a lot of nocturnal animals here on FanStory. Every time I post something in the day, I may get five to six replies, reviews, or messages. But once I'm off and sleeping, you guys come to life! Leaving thirteen new messages or reviews!!
Spitfire: I noticed that too. -

AJ McCall: Is there a word describing a loud scratchy noise, like a claw dragging across a wooden table top or metal?
    CD Richards: Annoying. -
Angela Hayes: I thought of the word Screetching, if you want to google the meaning. :) -
    Angela Hayes: Sorry... Screeching??
    -
AJ McCall: Thank you :) -
    Anne-Marie brison: Nerve racking -

AJ McCall: Today's Juneteenth!

FanStory wrote to AJ McCall: My DNA's What?! finished third in the contest "Reactions"
AJ McCall: Woohoo! My first win! -

AJ McCall: For the script contest I have an awesome idea, but the problem is I've never written a full-out script before and how would you write dancing into it where readers can picture the actual dance moves? I don't want it to be confusing.
Spitfire: Just write the kind of dance for example: They did a slow moving fox trot and intermingled it with cha-cha steps. -
AJ McCall: Thank you for your comment! I will try that. I'm so sorry for replying late! -

AJ McCall: Can anyone give me an example of how to describe a giant ax? Or the handle of it?
nor84: If you mean a battle ax, you can probably just check the Internet asking What is a battle ax? There may be drawings. -
giraffmang: Jut don't call it a huge weapon which he grasps firmly... -
AJ McCall: thanks, I'll have to look that up. Yeah, 'huge' doesn't sound good. I'll be changing that. -
